An angel descends from upon high Viewing the carnage wrought Over the centuries of humanity Naught does he see to please him God calls out to him for patience The destruction is halted, as naught before Humans learn, humans grown and blossom Giving birth to a grand new future

Dawn greets the green meadows with warmth Dew glistens on the pale blades of grass An ocean of jade stirs with the breeze Like a  sea of diamonds waving in the wind Cool morning air sweeping through the fields As the earth comes to life with the touch of light

And so the earth cries with ashen skies Not for naught, but for sorrow It cries to wash away the past and feed the future Be not sad for the future is not stone It is but fluid like the tears of earth Light is quashed and hidden As grey and dark over take the land Sun to be hidden and left alone No light to be shown into this now empty existence

Like a stab in the back Like a smack to the face I felt the words fall into place There was no running no recourse My heart laid bear to see Blood now covered the walls As she walked away from me No tears were shed No cries were heard It was all in my head A smile hiding that which I dread Its all ok now for I am dead

As I watch you walk on by I feel a stab in my heart As you glance at me but ignore me I feel hurt I am caged by my emotions, bound to silence Weeping alone no one there to hear the cries As the days pass the fire does not die in my heart My heart like an empty cell, cries echoing around Behind closed doors and locked rooms my feelings hide Never to be seen or shown, for they are bound to me Caged in the depths of my heart so as not cause problems The echoes slowly tear me up inside, like blades of sound My heart slowly dies as I watch nothing even knock on the door inside In darkness and silence they sit, sealed like the tombs of old Time go

Hair blowing in the wind, free as a your soul Like silken waves, they flow around your beautiful face Eyes blue grey and cool, whimsical yet wise beyond knowing Like a pool deep with mystery of the past and thoughts of future Smile spreading wide across your face, intriguing and full of joy Like a little bit of sunshine being let into the world you grace Laugh that sounds of melody carries on the breeze Like a chorus of song birds its sets someone at ease Voice soft and sweet, not one of conflict Like the sound of one who has lived life not just watched Such a short time has passed, with such a long road ahead This feeling not stopping, unab

Death is the only certainty in our future For everyone has this end to which none can escape The past is gone and over finality at its best Nothing can change whats happened so learn from it So dont live for the past and get lost in the has beens and could haves Dont live in the future that is always changing with only one certainty Let the past mold you and dont fear your future Live in the NOW the HERE and the experiences all around you. The people the places the things are what makes life fun Life is what you make of it so hold no regrets for tomorrow is always a new day!
